Arrived We Have

So, three weeks after arriving back in Australia, we're back in Darwin. Not much seems to have changed. The Stuart Highway works are continuing, and the building up at the top of Palmerston is pretty much completed. Nyeh. Not so exciting!

Mat's not back at work yet, but we've found ourselves a new house to rent (it's a 4 1/2 bedroom place; lots of room and very comfortable), and it still feels to me as though we're on holidays. I've sorted through the boxes and set aside nearly half of them to remain unopened, because it will make relocating to Canada SO much easier. :D Yeah, we're planning on getting back over. No idea how long it will take to get visas and save the money, but the hope and dream to live in BC has not diminished one bit.

Our holiday was incredible. We experienced the providence of God and the goodness of man at every turn, and we loved it.

I'd blog about stuff, but at the moment I am surrounded by noisy teenagers at McDonalds while I consume their wifi. We get our home phone connected tomorrow, and the internet will be up and running before I go to bed. Well, before Mat does.

Love ya, Darwin. (This will be more amusing to people who lived in Darwin in the 80s)
